Cropped skinny jeans and pants are currently on the intro phase of the fashion cycle. Celebrities are already wearing them and they can be seen on the runway. The influence of celebrities wearing them is appealing to the average person. Fashion leaders/early adapters are now buying and wearing them and they are slowly becoming accepted to the majority of people. 

We think the cropped look will last about 3 seasons and will eventually or soon be sold in mass production retail stores.

Working at Francesca’s Collections, we get to decorate mannequins and window displays, I did this window for our new spring arrivals with bright colors and popping patterns to mimick our new merchandise inside. I love being able to dress windows because it gives me a chance to show my creative side and it gets my imagination flowing. When making a window display, I have to coordinate not only the clothing but also accessories and jewelry that match or compliment the colors of the clothes. Lace, chunky colorful necklaces, fringe, and color-blocking has been very in for winter and spring so I made sure to show that we have all those items in the store. I also made sure to put some of our home decorations such as our wooden signs and frames in the window as well. The window display is very important for Francesca’s because we are a newer store so a lot of people don’t know about us, we always want our window to represent our store as a whole.
